When we are not living in alignment with our values, our personal energy is disrupted, our internal drive is hindered and our fulfillment is diminished.

The Values Preference Indicator is one way of looking at your values and only part of a holistic personal or professional development plan. We acknowledge that the VPI values list is a good place to start and that other values not represented in this instrument can and will be important to you.

The VPI can assist you to do the following:

Determine your personal and professional values preferences
Provide a process to help you prioritize your values
Confirm that what you THINK are your most important values really reflect what you actually value

Corporate High-Volume Package

Each package comes with a set number of units or assessments.Once you engage or purchase your package, it will be placed in your Learning Center.
You decide which assessments you wish to use when you want to use them. At the time of purchase, you need not decide how many units of a specific assessment you will want in future. If you wish 1 person to complete 5 different tools or 100 individuals to complete a single tool, you determine that later, at the time of deployment. This provides you, the professional, with significant flexibility. As your needs change, your CRG choices can change with them.

The VPI is a simple yet powerful process to help measure personal values preferences. It is intended to be a self-awareness and educational tool, while helping users gain a deeper understanding of the values that are most important to them. The exercises in this Indicator have been designed so that participants can systematically examine fundamental values for the purpose of self-learning and group discussion. It is our second most popular assessment after the Personal Style Indicator.

As a speaker, trainer, coach, facilitator, workshop leader or HR professional you will find the Values Preference Indicator Trainer’s Guidelines (20 pages) an essential tool for presenting and using the VPI. Presentation options range from basic (no presentation) to advanced (30 minutes to 4 hours). These Guidelines have been updated to reflect the use of the online version of the VPI.

We highly recommend that you use the VPI PowerPoint when debriefing or conducting a workshop (both live or virtual) around the content of the VPI.

The VPI Trainer’s Guidelines provides you with:

Teach them how values and personal style work together.
Discuss why values are important and how they link to needs and fears.
A script detailing the main concepts of the VPI.
Group exercises.
